LARRY’S LIST launched LARRY’S LIST TV last week to bring exclusive, in-depth content related to collecting art and design in video format to the audience. In this first episode of the ART INSIGHTS series, LARRY’S LIST has teamed up with famous Chinese actress Zhu Zhu to explore the inseparable connection between art and life.
Zhu Zhu’s art collection is extensive, comprising artworks by various international artists, from Tracey Emin and WangJiajia, to Peng Bo and Shen Tao, to name a few. Zhu Zhu seeks to reflect her true and pure self through her art journey. In her philosophy, “every piece of art is a soul, a person.”
Defining Zhu Zhu is difficult: actress, presenter, singer, art project partner and art lover as she suggested in the interview,“I am a creator, a spectator, and a medium at the same time.” Last year, Zhu Zhu collaborated with Yongle Space, taking on a new identity in dialogue with the artist. Unintimidated by the challenge of juggling different identities, Zhu Zhu is determined to be a self-driven crossover mediator. For her, art and life have become one; and art is the recipe for life.
