Anker point of this year’s edition of The Art Resort in Shanghai taking place from 8-10
November and conceived by LARRY’S LIST and THE TABLE Studio, was the exhibition “Sanctuary of Creativity,” curated by artistic director Elvina Chan.
Embodying the idea of a sanctuary for creativity, visitors could immerse themselves in the
diverse expressions of contemporary art. Throughout the exhibition, visitors encountered a harmonious blend of sculptures, video art, and paintings, each inviting them to explore the interconnectedness of different mediums. The artworks challenged perceptions, provoking thought, and encouraging dialogue, creating an environment that nurtures artistic exploration. The sanctuary not only highlights the individual voices of contemporary artists but also emphasizes the collective experience of creativity as a vital aspect of human expression and connection.
Guest were invited to carry the inspiration and insights gained from this journey into their daily lives. The intention of the show was that the diversity of artworks, interactive experiences, and communal atmosphere sparked new ideas and reflections, encouraging to seek out the beauty and innovation that art brings to our world and embrace the transformative power of art long after leaving the resort.
