“Art needs an audience and the internet allows to reach it everywhere, every when and also everybody”
– Sylvain Levy
Based on this principle of an adventure, the dslcollection has always tried to adopt the most innovative communication tools to reach its audience and to share the collection. Through the powers of digital technology and social networks (such as Facebook, Linkedin, and Artstack), the dslcollection is now connected with people from all around the world.
To date, dslcollection has over 14,000 linkedin connections spread across 200 cities. There are over 36,000 likes on the collection’s facebook page and a high degree of daily interactions, placing the dslcollection well ahead of other private collections despite not having a physical exhibition space. The level of endorsements and the successful collaborations that have resulted from these connections have proven the power of social networks as a communication tool.
“The more we go digital the more we need museums. The question is what is a museum today?”
– Sylvain Levy
